Your old website, rebuilt without starting from zero

Slow, dated, broken on phones, or stuck on a platform nobody supports anymore? I rebuild sites on modern code, keep the content and Google rankings you've earned, and fix the things that quietly cost you customers.

Signs it's time

Does any of this sound familiar?

If two or more of these are true, your website is probably losing you business. Most of them are fixable.

  • It looks dated, or it's hard to use on a phone
  • Pages load slowly or show security warnings
  • The contact form doesn't reliably reach you
  • You can't update it yourself, or the person who built it is gone
  • It runs on old code or a host that no longer gets updates
  • It doesn't say clearly what you do today, or where
  • You don't show up on Google for your own services

What I do

Redesign, rescue or move

Redesign

A modern, mobile-first design and clearer copy, built around what you do now and what you want customers to do.

Rescue

Broken forms, expired certificates, crashes and security problems found and fixed, often without a full rebuild.

Move

Content and data moved off old hosts, outdated code and abandoned builders onto modern, supported software.

Protecting your rankings

Redesigns can lose Google traffic. Mine are planned not to.

The most common redesign mistake is changing every page address and forgetting the old ones. Here's how I avoid that.

  1. Map every old page

Each old address gets a permanent (301) redirect to its new home, so links and rankings carry over.

  2. Keep what works

Pages, titles and content that already bring in visitors are kept or improved, not thrown away.

  3. Tell Google

A fresh sitemap, structured data and a check in Google Search Console after launch.

FAQ

Redesign questions

Will I lose my Google rankings if I redesign my website?

Not if it's done carefully. I keep the pages that rank, set up permanent (301) redirects from every old address to its new home, keep page titles and content that work, and submit the new sitemap to Google so it updates quickly.

My site is on an old platform nobody supports. Can you move it?

Usually, yes. I've moved sites off old hosting, outdated code and abandoned builders. I copy the content and data, rebuild it on modern, supported code, and test everything before switching over.

Should I redesign or just fix what I have?

Sometimes a few fixes are enough: a faster host, a working contact form, a clearer homepage. I'll tell you honestly which makes more sense for your budget.
